That's where I found my love for arranging and designing florals'. Paper flowers.
It was my best friend's wedding and she said she couldn't afford flowers so she was going to use and make paper flowers. NO! I thought. I had a low budget wedding as well, but there is a piece to a wedding that flowers bring that cannot be replaced or replicated without their natural beauty missing.
It's an ethereal texture that brings to life the moment and scenery of a bride meeting her groom. Its bride's last clutch of flowers she used to gather as a child to hand off before she makes an adult commitment. Flowers cannot be replaced. So that was my gift to her.
My best friend was the best maid of honor I could have ever asked for so the opportunity to do the same for her, well the decision was made after I heard, "paper flowers."
That's where it all began. That night at 2:00 a.m. arranging her bouquet with yellows, purples, greens, and whites I found what I loved to do while my best friend found who she was going to love forever.
I have very little advice to give looking back now, almost 2 years ago. But that the fuller the better! Here are the flowers that were almost paper!
